Palestrantes

 Dr. Danays Kunka

Danays Kunka is member of the X-ray Optics Group, division of Optics and Photonics since September 2011. She obtained her PhD in Physics at the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC) in collaboration with the Brazilian Center for Research in Physics (CBPF) in 2001, where she worked as scientist until 2006. She also worked at the Institute of Experimental Nuclear Physics of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2006 until 2011. She is currently responsible for the X-ray Imaging Application Group at the Institute of Microstructure Technology (IMT). The X-ray gratings group is worldwide leading for the development of X-ray gratings with high aspect ratio, the main optical component for a novel X-ray imaging modality called differential phase contrast imaging.

Dr. Jürgen Mohr

Jürgen Mohr, graduated in physics in 1983 and received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering in 1987 both from the University of Karlsruhe. Since 1987 he is with Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Since 1992 he is leading the X-ray lithography and micro-optics department. Since 2010 he is spokesperson of the Helmholtz Research Infrastructure KNMF (Karlsruhe Nano and Micro Facility), an open access user facility in the field of multi material nano and microfabrication and characterization. Since 2011 he is also head of the virtual institute for New X-ray Imaging Methods for Materials Analysis.

 Margarita Zakharova

Margarita Zakharova is a Master student from Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) working in collaboration with the Institute of Microstructure Technology (IMT) Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Since March 2016 she is doing experimental part for her Master thesis with the development of two-dimensional gratings for SSI. She received Bachelor degree in Physics at the TPU in June 2015. She also worked as an intern at the Institute of Photon Science (IPS) KIT with X-ray diffraction and reflectivity methods.

 M. Sc. Vitor Vlnieska

Vitor Vlnieska has a permanent position at Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) – Brazil, since 2011, where he worked with polymers and polymer synthesis since 2009. From 2014 to 2016 he was professor at Opet College - Brazil, teaching for engineering courses. He obtained the Master degree in Organic Chemistry from UFPR in 2013. He has graduation in Chemistry (UFPR) as bachelor and Teaching license and Industrial Automation Technologist (UTFPR). He is currently a PhD student at Institute of Microstructure Technology, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany.
